ALOK x CHILLI BEANS
TECH + HUMANITY
This is the full project for Chilli Beans collab with Alok on their Tech + Humanity collection. The main goal was to create a future that connected nature with technology and Alok’s search for light and clarity. This was done through multiple sceneries, from the city to the cliffs and the final destination, a mystic forest.
This project was made in partnership between me and Samuel Simionato. Our respective roles were: I was responsible for all of the 3D and also part of the post production. Samuel was responsible for the post production (AE, animations, image painting) and we also shared a lot on creative decisions.
The challenges were not only technical, but also conceptual — crafting a visual world that fits within a commercial framework while pushing the boundaries of CGI storytelling. It was a true test of collaboration and creative flexibility.
WE USED A LOT OF MIXED MEDIA
to reinforce and ground the storytelling. With a mix of 3D and photographs throughout most of the pieces, being the one above one of the coolest examples on mixing both. We turned the model Alessandra Belic into a hologram to interact with Alok, now a fully 3D character in the virtual world.
